The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has changed the probable 43rd BCS Exam Date Preliminary Test (MCQ type). The preliminary examination has been rescheduled for October 29 instead of October 15. This information was given in a press release signed by Nur Ahmed, Controller of Examinations, PSC on Tuesday.
Mark Distribution
According to the notification, the candidate has to participate in the preliminary examination number 200. Test time 2 hours. The preliminary examination will have 200 questions. The candidate will get 1 number for each correct answer. However, in case of a wrong answer, a decimal 50 (zero point five-zero) number can be deducted from the total number obtained for each wrong answer. The preliminary thematic syllabus can be found on the PSC website.

Meanwhile, the 43rd BCS application has crossed 4 lakh. According to the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC), the number of applicants is increasing as those who could not apply for eligibility due to the increase in time have also got the opportunity to apply. The application period will end on June 30. According to PSC sources, 4 lakh 8 thousand 462 people have applied for the 43rd BCS till May 4. Due to the non-completion of final examinations in different universities, PSC extended the application time for the 43rd BCS in three phases.
43rd BCS Admit Card
Earlier, the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) had said that the 43rd BCS Exam Date preliminary examination would be postponed. According to PSC sources, Vijaya Dashami of Hindus is scheduled to be held on October 15. He will not be tested on that date. When asked, a member of PSC told Prothom Alo that the issue of Vijaya Dashmi was overlooked while fixing the date of the examination. So PSC has decided to postpone the exam on that day. This date will be rescheduled at the end of the commission meeting.
According to the notification of the 43rd BCS, 1,614 officers will be recruited in different cadres in this BCS. Of these, 300 will be appointed in the administration cadre, 100 in the police cadre, 25 in the foreign cadre, 643 in the education cadre, 35 in the audit, 22 in information, 19 in tax, 14 in the customs, and 19 in cooperatives.
