Job Responsibilities
- Maintain communication with all existing & prospective customers in foreign countries to be assigned by Supervisor.
- Place Export Notice to factories as per buyer’s & country requirements with proper guidelines.
- Prepare all shipping documents.
- Collect freight quotations from shipping line/forwarders & recommend for the appropriate one.
- Keep record of every steps of export shipping and send required documents to the buyers on time for smooth release of the consignments.
- Receive feedback of exported products & services; and get repeat order.
- Communicate & attend meetings with different Govt. agencies, chambers, associations and banks regarding export related rules & facilities.
- Keep liaison with different international agencies as required.
- Communicate with different export logistics offices like Shipping Lines, C&F Agents (Chittagong), ICD (Dhaka) authorities, MCCI, DCCI, FBCCI, EPB, BAPA, Khamar Bari (DAE) etc.
- Visit foreign markets and participate in Trade Fairs as per higher management approval.
- Review importers yearly/periodic performance and develop different programs to achieve annual target.
- Work under heavy work pressure.
- Any work as per instruction of higher management.
